Terms of Service

By accessing or using Kora (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App. The App is operated by Kora Kinetic (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

• You may sign in using Apple Sign-In or a magic link sent to your email address.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to use the App to:

• Upload, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or any related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by us
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App

5a. Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create in the App, including workspace titles, movement descriptions, formation maps, rehearsal plans, cast information, and any other user-generated content (“Your Content”).

5b. License to Us

By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App to you. We do not claim any ownership over Your Content.

5c. Shared Content

When you generate a read-only share link for a workspace, the content of that workspace becomes accessible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for managing who receives your share links.

5d. Local Media

Photos and videos you capture or attach to movements are stored exclusively on your deviceusing your browser’s IndexedDB. We never upload, access, or store your media on our servers. You are solely responsible for backing up your local media.

The App, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and documentation, is the property of Kora Kinetic and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding, logos, or trademarks without prior written consent.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

• We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
• We may modify, update, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time without prior notice.
• We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily limits access to the App.

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or defects.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kora Kinetic and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kora Kinetic and its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

• You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time by contacting us at [hello@korakinetic.com].
• We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in the United States.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the App or updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
